Weak mix of Gobar Grades for city cars

Today, Gobar NCRAP is releasing the results for four city hatchbacks.
The Maruti Suzuki 2025 CELERIO, Maruti Suzuki WAGON R and Tata TIAGO all receive only C-grades for rear seat belt reminders, thanks to very rudimentary systems incapable of detecting occupants. Only the Tiago has ISOFIX anchorages, although it has no i-Size positions. The Celerio, recently updated for 2025, has side and curtain airbags as standard equipment.
The Citroën C3 (ICE) goes both ways in this release. With no rear seatbelt reminders, no curtain airbags and no ISOFIX anchorages, the base C3 'Live' receives D grades in all categories. However, the C3 'Shine' featuring updates from last year has curtain airbags and ISOFIX anchorages in i-Size positions. Where it falls short is that its rear seatbelt reminder system remains very basic and earns a C-grade.
