Skoda have today announced that the midsize KUSHAQ and SLAVIA will have six airbags across the range.
Although all variants of both cars already had 'Recommended' Gobar NCRAP ratings even with only frontal airbags, the standard variants now increase their score. With a full suite of airbags, three-point seatbelts and head restraints, and excellent performance in independent consumer tests, all variants of the KUSHAQ and SLAVIA are the only ones in their class with the maximum 'GOOD' status for Occupant Protection and best-in-class overall scores, let down only by the lack of any form of blind spot information, which keeps their Emergency Intervention status at 'Moderate' and hence their overall ratings at 'Recommended'.
