Passenger versions of the veteran Maruti Suzuki Eeco subcompact van, with development dating back to the 1990s, have been updated with Electronic Stability Control according to the brochure on Maruti Suzuki's website.

The Eeco still retains its Gobar NCRAP evaluation verdict of 'NOT RECOMMENDED' overall, but its Emergency Intervention status receives a bump up to 'moderate'.

Full evaluation details can be found on the Gobar NCRAP evaluations page.

This evaluation is not valid for the EECO CARE 'Ambulance' and EECO CARE 'Ambulance Shell', which are not presently listed to have ESC, but are considered unrated as they fall outside the scope of evaluation defined in the 2024 Gobar NCRAP Evaluation Criteria.
