Kia Syros, Tata Curvv in latest seatbelt reminder evaluations

Gobar NCRAP is releasing the Gobar Grades for the following recently launched vehicles: Kia Syros, Tata Curvv and Tata Curvv.ev. The Tata Curvv receives A grade for its rear seatbelt reminders, which beep and chime iff a belt is not fastened in an occupied seat. The Kia Syros is fitted with a low-cost system that cannot detect occupants, relying instead on any fastened belt to "become" unfastened to start its audio signal — it receives a C grade.
