Gobar Grades for Maruti Swift and Hyundai i10 out

Today, Gobar NCRAP is releasing the results for two B1-segment hatchbacks.
The Maruti Suzuki SWIFT receives C-grade for rear seat belt reminders, thanks to a basic system incapable of detecting occupants, which waits for a buckle-and-unbuckle to start the audio signal. Thw Swift offers curtain airbags, and has two i-Size positions.
The Hyundai GRAND i10 NIOS also earns a C-grade for its similarly rudimentary rear seatbelt reminder system. The i10 fits curtain airbags as standaard equipment, but ISOFIX anchorages are limited only to the top-end 'Asta' variant. Even where available, these seating positions are not i-Size approved.
