To remember the vehicle safety scene in 2023 Gobar NCRAP introduces a new award BEST OF 2023. Vehicle models that qualify for BEST OF 2023 are those that rate BEST PICK in their segment with all optional safety equipment fitted and RECOMMENDED or better as standard.

Ratings considered are from the latest and final Q4 2023 lists presently found in the new car ratings section of the website.

Of the 78 cars rated in 2023, 28 qualify for BEST OF 2023.
