In the ATTO 3's brochure, BYD India are advertising a 5-star (2022) Euro NCAP crash test rating. However, India is not in Euro NCAP's assessment zone, which includes only EU29 and the UK. There may be safety specification and construction differences between the unit tested by Euro NCAP and that sold locally. For example, Indian ATTO 3 'Dynamic' units do not have multiple safety assist technologies standard in Euro NCAP's assessment zone and fitted to the test car.
