Although the user manual for the Basalt is not available online, a media review by Autocar India states the following: "Annoyingly, there are no load sensors, so you will need to fasten the seatbelts even if there are no rear seat occupants; otherwise, the seatbelt reminder will buzz for a few seconds at the start of every journey."
