The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is a corporate twin to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. From the Grand Vitara (July '24—)'s owner's manual:
"Reminder light in speedometer for rear passengers to fasten their seat belts. Whether or not a passenger is seated, the rear seat belt reminder system works as follows, when ignition mode is turned ON:
1) Reminder light will turn ON for the non- buckled seats and continue for vehicle speed below 15 km/h.
2) When vehicle speed is above 15 km/h, reminder light will remain ON for the non-buckled seats for about 65 sec- onds and then turn OFF.
3) Further, when a buckled seat belt is unbuckled, the corresponding reminder light will turn ON. Above 15 km/h, the reminder light will blink (about 65 sec- onds) along with a buzzer sound (about 35 seconds). The reminder light will remain ON until the seat belt is buckled.
If rear door is opened in vehicle stationary condition, then reminder system will start from step 1.
The reminder will be automatically can- celed when all the rear seat belts are buck- led or the ignition mode to LOCK (OFF)"
